Description
This project consisted of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction for closing the combined cycle of the Flores II and Flores III gas turbines, which operated in a simple cycle at the Las Flores Thermoelectric Plant with the purpose of taking advantage of the heat content of the exhaust gases and increase the capacity of the plant by 169 MW without extra fuel requirements, thus improving the energy efficiency of the plant.
The scope of the work developed by ASINCRO, for this project, involved the development of Basic and Detail Engineering, the procurement of major equipment and complementary materials and equipment necessary for the operation of the balance of plant (BOP), construction activities, assembly, testing and commissioning of the Plant, as well as complementary materials, facilities and works, including the total replacement of the plant control system, all complying with the applicable laws, environmental regulations, labor standards and good practices of Construction and Engineering .
